Here is a perfect activity that gets the family outside enjoying the fresh air and some good times while making a difference in the community.
The
Florida Scrub-Jay Trail has joined forces with the Lake
County "Adopt-a-Roadway" program to clean
up a 2 mile stretch of the Monte Vista Rd. roadside.
We are asking
for folks to join us on Saturday, March 14, 2015
from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
In return for your help for the road clean-up, you receive the following benefits:
- A pre-clean-up continental breakfast on
the Trailhouse porch:
Coffee, Tea, Juice, Quiche, Fruit,
Pastry,
etc. at 8:00am.
- A really
good feeling for helping to cleanup our highways.
- BONUS GAME:
Most unique item found wins a Florida Scrub-Jay Trail Mouse Pad.
