It's time to prune the Bald Cypress trees planted as part of the
lakefront restoration project in 2020.

Calling all volunteers with a lot or a little or no experience
in tree trimming to join us for


Trailday on Saturday, April 26, from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.
 
Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring your water bottle - we will supply plenty of cold water for refills. Other things to bring are gloves, hat, sunscreen, pruning shears, and loppers. We have a limited supply of tools to share so don't worry if you don't have your own. 
Please consider becoming a Florida Scrub-Jay Trail member and contributing to our cause of protecting the Florida Scrub-Jay from extinction while supporting our children as they explore our great Florida outdoors.

The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail is open to the public
Saturday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


NOTE: Closed Sunday, May 4 - Friday, May 9, 2025
