The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail
on Saturday, June 25, 2022,
for Trailday and Yoga.

Summer is here and we are growing our own shade at The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail to provide future relief from Florida's hot hot hot days!

On Saturday, June 25, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., we will use our Trailday hours to help nature along by continuing our maintenance of the Bald Cypress trees that are part of the lakefront restoration project.

These trees can reach a height of 20 ft within four years, and we are so excited that many of them will thrive and provide environmental benefits - including shade! - for a 1000 years to come…with a little help during these early years.

Bring your water bottle – we will supply plenty of cold water to refill your bottle. Other things to bring to Saturday’s Trailday are gloves, hats, pruning shears, and loppers. We have a limited supply of tools to share, so don’t worry if you don’t have your own.

Find your way to some much-needed stress relief and relaxation at our Blissful Sunrise Yoga.

Enjoy the natural beauty of The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail as Pamela leads us through calming, reflective poses that are suitable for any experience level. All you need to bring is your mat and your enthusiasm. (No charge)

Continental breakfast is dished up on the Trailhouse porch at 8:00 a.m.
