Nature is abundant at The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail, and on Saturday, May 28, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., we will use our Trailday hours to help nature along by continuing our maintenance of the Bald Cypress trees that are part of the lakefront restoration project.

These trees can reach a height of 20 ft within four years, and we are so excited that many of them will thrive and provide environmental benefits for a 1000 years to come…with a little help during these early years.

Bring your water bottle – we will supply plenty of cold water to refill your bottle. Other things to bring to Saturday’s Trailday are gloves, hats, pruning shears, and loppers. We have a limited supply of tools to share, so don’t worry if you don’t have your own.

Take in some sunrise Vitamin N with yoga by the lake beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Enjoy the natural beauty of The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail as Dianna leads us through calming, reflective poses that are suitable for any experience level.

How much would you expect to pay for a one-hour yoga practice in the beautiful outdoors? $25? $50?

NO! It's still FREE!
All you need to bring is your mat and your enthusiasm.

on the Trailhouse porch at 8:00 a.m.
