Take a deep breath of nature
before jumping into the hectic holiday season!
Florida Scrub-Jay Trailday & Yoga Saturday, November 23
Reflect on what you have to
be thankful for and
release your concerns at SUNRISE YOGA.
( 7:00 a.m., No charge)
Dianna leads us through calming, reflective poses that are suitable for any
experience level. All you need to bring is your mat and your enthusiasm.
TRAILDAY SATURDAY - we continue our trail maintenance with plenty of time to appreciate the beautiful blooms of the Garberia that brighten the trail this time of year.
The Scrub-Jays have been active gathering acorns and have been spotted all over the trails, not just the usual east side during this time of year. Itís a great time to enjoy the jays, migratory birds, butterflies and the beautiful fall-blooming flowers. Perfect weather for a hike or stroll. 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Please bring loppers, hand pruners, and gloves if you have them. If not, we have limited availability of equipment to loan for the event. Everyone should wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring your water bottle - we will supply plenty of cold water to refill your bottle.
Giving Tuesday is a global initiative dedicated to giving back.
On Tuesday, December 3,
individuals, charities, families, businesses and students around the world
will come together to celebrate generosity and give to their favorite causes.
Giving Tuesday is the perfect day to support The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail through membership or donations that help continue our efforts to maintain the scrub habitat and protect the Florida Scrub-Jay from extinction.
Reminder - the first Saturday of each month is The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail Orientation
from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m
For further information, to apply as a volunteer,
or to register for the Orientation,
