Start Your Memorial Day Weekend at the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail Saturday, May 25, 2019 Continental breakfast on the Trailhouse porch at 8:00 a.m.  Catch up on what's been happening and what's coming up for the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail while enjoying a cup of coffee and a light breakfast (contributions to the breakfast table are welcome but not required). Trailday - find your way to the trail and lend a hand at our ongoing trail maintenance from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  Please bring loppers, hand pruners, and gloves if you have them. If not, we have limited availability of equipment to loan for the event. Everyone should wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. This is a great first step and introduction to our organization and to the many volunteer opportunities.   The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail is open to the public Saturday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You are always invited to come see this Garden Spot of Lake County.
