Birding with John Thomton

OCTOBER 15, 2019   8:00AM - 10:00AM

John Thomton, our #1 Florida Scrub-Jay Trail bird expert, will lead a Bird Walk from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. John created our Birding Checklist and keeps the updated list of “Birds Seen on The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail.” This is the perfect time of year to spot resident birds and visitors just passing through.
Also at this time of year our Florida Scrub-Jays are collecting acorns for their winter food source in case we get a cold spell. They have been more active recently and there have been several sightings.

This group will be the first to experience the view from the top of our new Wildlife Observation Tower which overlooks the lake.

Coffee, juice, and continental breakfast will be available.
Space is limited so be sure to reserve a spot now.

When:   Tuesday, October 15, 2019  8:00am – 10:00am

Where:   B.B. Brown's Gardens at the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail
               11490 Montevista Rd. Clermont, Florida

Cost:   $20  per person

RSVP:  Call 352-429-5566 or e-mail  info@scrubjaytrail.org
