One of the treats we will have as we continue our trail maintenance, from 8:30-11:00 a.m., is to see the beautiful Garberia which is just ready to burst into bloom.   We are still clearing and widening the trails and clearing around the benches.   We are assisted in our efforts by the gopher tortoises that clear the land as they eat, leaving a very nice 30% open, sandy habitat for the Florida Scrub-Jays.  Please bring loppers, hand pruners, and gloves if you have them. If not, we have limited availability of equipment to loan for the event. Everyone should wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring your water bottle - we will supply plenty of cold water to refill your bottle.  Before trail work begins, treat yourself to Sunrise Yoga.  Dianna leads us through calming, reflective poses that are suitable for any experience level.     All you need to bring is your mat and your enthusiasm.    ( 7:00 a.m., No charge) Continental breakfast on the Trailhouse porch at 8:00 a.m.  (contributions to the breakfast table are welcome but not required) John Thomton will be birding from 8:30-10:00 a.m. Who knows what scary sights you'll see as you check out the birds at the Florida Scrub-Jay trail.
