Our blissful sunrise yoga starts at 7:00 a.m. and lets us enjoy the beauty of sunrise over the lake as we are led through calming, reflective poses that are suitable for any experience level. All you need to bring is your mat and your enthusiasm. (No charge) |

John Thomton, our bird checklist professional, will be birding from 8:30-10:00 a.m. John has created our Birding Checklist over the years and keeps the updated list of “Birds Seen on The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail.” Join John and his family on Saturday, May 26, for a great birding adventure. |

Please bring loppers, hand pruners, and gloves if you have them. If not, we have limited availability of equipment to loan for the event. Everyone should wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring your water bottle - we will supply plenty of cold water to refill your bottle. |

Fishing and Basic Boating Skills Day Camp June 4-8, June 11-15, and June 18-22, 2018

The 5th annual Fishing and Basic Boating Skills Camp at the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail is offered to boys and girls, ages 9 to 15, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Skills to be learned include fishing technique, boating safety and navigation, trolling motor and oaring operation, knot tying, tackle selection, casting, cast netting, fish cleaning and much more. Campers will receive their own rod, reel and tackle box stocked with all the tackle they will need during camp, and to take home.
Tournaments will determine the largest and smallest fish caught (catch and release), boating skills slalom course timed event, casting accuracy, and cast netting skills. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category. The week will end with a family Fish Fry and boat rides offered by the new campers. |

Tuition is $225 per week ($215 if paid by cash or check)

The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail is open to the public Saturday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
