Trailday! Qigong! Birding! Treats!
7:00 a.m. Karen McCahey, student of Tevia Feng of White Tiger Qigong, will give us more insight into the practice of Qigong - the art of learning to move energy through our bodies using movement, breath and intention.
Qi means energy and Gong means work.
Karen is studying dynamic Qigong and will do the warm up with everyone which opens the meridians and allows the energy to flow freely without being blocked. (No charge)
Enjoy continental breakfast on the Trailhouse porch at 8:00 a.m. before heading out for trail work. (contributions to the breakfast table are welcome but not required)
Lend a hand at our ongoing trail maintenance. Bring your clippers, gloves, refillable water bottle, insect repellent.
The Florida Scrub-Jays have been flying with the Blue Jays and collecting acorns, typical activity for the fall.
Did you know the Florida Scrub-Jay collects approximately 6000 - 8000 acorns each year in the fall? These are buried until they need them when the weather gets cold.
