BioBlitz Continues in 2017

BioBlitz with Dr. Minno

Dr. Minno’s Journey Into The Natural World

At B.B.Brown’s Gardens at the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail, Dr. Marc Minno will lead a 2 hour trek through the sandhill scrub and wetlands where butterflies live in abundance along with a plethora of tiny insects, caterpillars, birds, native plants, shrubs and trees. Last year we observed 48 species of butterflies (1,506 adults) and 340 species of plants in this biologically diverse habitat.

Bring your refillable water bottle as we will have plenty of water.

When:   July 15
               August 12
               September 16
               October 21
               November 25 (new date)
               December 9

Time:    10:30am to 12:30pm

Lunch Option:    Bring a brown bag lunch if you’d like to join the lunch discussion
                             with Marc from 12:30pm-1:00pm

               11490 Montevista Rd. Clermont, Florida

Cost:   $10.00 per member, $15.00 per non-member
