CELEBRATE SPRING EQUINOX 2017
MARCH 19, 2017   2:00PM - 4:00PM

At the same time when the universe is striking a balance between daytime and nighttime, the earth is receiving new surges of energy for Spring. This is a good time for planning your life by taking a closer look at your goals for 2017.

We invite you on Sunday, to join us for a Spring Equinox celebration at our favorite Florida Scrub-Jay Trail. Joining Cathy & Bruce Brown, to help commemorate this special day, are Melinda Joy Miller, Dorothea Zajaczuk, Rev. Marie Damato, Misty Meha, Michelle Finley and Tara Dukette.

RSVP:   Call  (352)-429-5566  or email  info@scrubjaytrail.org

Meet our Guests:

Melinda Joy Miller, the first to fuse sustainability with feng shui, environmental psychology, shaman studies, Shamanic Astrology, Permaculture and cultural Anthropology, she ultimately established 2 new fields of expertise, Shambhalla Feng Shui and Shamanic Gardening. Both are introduced in her book, Shamanic Gardening. With her daughter of Kim Colwell Design, they help people empower strength, create harmony, inspire creativity and bring more love and joy into relationships.

Dorothea Zajaczuk is a certified Shambhalla Feng Shui Master with on-sight consulting for residential, garden and business design. She began her explorations in energy work in 1990 studying and subsequently teaching Tai Chi and other internal marshal arts, and is a Reiki Master Practitioner. Her background also includes the study of various bodywork therapies and oriental philosophies. Intuitively rearranging, reorganizing and de-cluttering her home brought opportunities for personal growth and the desire to help others using the power of Feng Shui.

Rev. Marie Damato, BA, Fordham University, in the Arts, Social Science & Urban Design. Since 1985, Marie has been an Interfaith Minister from studies with Rabi Gelberman & the New Thought Institute of New York; She has extensive background as a Reiki Master and Master Gardener. Presently is the President of Wildflowers of Trilogy Garden Club, the founder and leader of the Wisdom Circle of Trilogy Orlando, and a Shambhalla Feng Shui Consultant in the Orlando area.

Misty Mehan, a recent Shambhalla Feng Shui Practitioner who moved to Florida from NYC where she was an event planner for Warner Music Group. Misty has always enjoyed organizing and believes it's all about the details. She looks forward to teaching her community as well as her 5 and 6 year old boys everything she has learned, passing the Shambhalla teachings on to them. She is a fun, energetic, foodie who loves to host parties, and to travel the world, seeing and trying new things.

Michelle Finley, a certified Yoga Calm Instructor, working with children ages 5-17. Yoga Calm is an innovative child education method that develops fitness, social, emotional and cognitive learning skills by applying five valuable principles -- Stillness, Listening, Grounding, Strength and Community. She helps children quiet their minds and bodies, learn about their emotional, physical and mental health, to make better choices and to navigate through life with greater compassion and skill.

Tara Dukette, a committed caregiver for over 25 years, working with elders, children and adults in mind/body issues. She and her husband Joe moved to Florida to be closer to their grandchildren from the gorgeous mountainous region of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain in upstate New York. A moon-child at heart who celebrates each full-moon, Tara also enjoys reading, hiking, making earrings, tasting different foods and exploring different cultures.
