Join us at the Trail on Saturday |
The Scrub-Jay Trailday provides an opportunity for volunteers (TrailBlazers) to join together in the effort to restore the Scrub-Jay Trail habitat.
As we approach nesting season, it is imperative that we provide optimal nesting space that provides safe cover from both earthbound and ariel predators.
From 7:00am to 8:00am, weather permitting, Dianna Magrum will lead an hour-long Yoga class by the lake. If weather is questionable, call us at 352-429-5566. A light breakfast will be offered on the porch, followed by Trail maintenance will take place from 8:00 to 11:00.
We will be pruning trees, clearing the way for scrub-jay nesting.
Work will conclude at 11:00am.
See you on the Trail!
