WinterFair 2011

You are invited to a benefit for The Florida Scrub-Jay Consortium as we raise money to build The Florida Scrub-Jay Treatment Center for songbirds and other injured wildlife.

Participate in an old Florida family celebration featuring ...
- chestnuts roasting on an open fire - hot mulled cider - locally grown organic food and
holiday cuisine from local restaurants - an old-fashioned horse-drawn country wagon ride - kayaking - fishing - birding - scouting skills - geocaching with Ranger Rick -
Domenic, the Italian Christmas Donkey and other furry friends.

Old Florida traditions of ...
- blacksmithing and weaving - children making Christmas gifts for local children
and Mom & Dad - planting vegetables for the Hungry in the Community Giving Garden -
singing around the campfire while roasting marshmallows.

Featuring  Woodsongs Star Michael Johnathon  at 7 pm.

Music throughout the day includes the talented Serina Jung whose unique style has influences that derive from folk, pop, rock and R&B;   Rog Lee whose style has roots in John Prine, Jimmy Buffet and Jim Croce, presents real Florida music he describes as "good natured rants about life in this beautiful state that I'm lucky enough to call home", along with the best local performers of Bluegrass and American Traditional music.
