The Scrub-Jays continue to
be very active collecting the thousands of acorns that are
needed to carry each of them over for the winter. We have a
bumper crop this year on the Trail so they are happy campers.
Other birds that have been
frequenting the Trail are bluebirds, bald eagles, yellow billed
cuckoo, and many of the migratory songbirds to name a few.
John Thomton has been working on the bird
checklist for the Trail and will have that available to the
public soon.
