The month has flown by so we will send a year-end
wrap-up newsletter next week. In the meantime, our monthly trail
day is scheduled for Saturday, December 26th from 8am-11am. We
have a scout group coming in January. We will want to set up a
template for them to work towards. This time we will choose the
area that the feral hogs had worked over. They have recently been
keeping to the wetland area so we will head back in to conquer
what we set out to do..provide habitat for the scrub-jays in the
area they originally were found.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
Bring gloves and clippers. The jays have been actively frequenting
this area so you may get a glimpse of them while we restore this
parcel.
As always you may contribute to the breakfast
table if you like although not required. We will supply coffee,
tea, eggnog and quiche. Christmas leftovers are welcome.
