Jean Vasicek, also known as "Jean the Beekeeper",
will conduct a master class on Beekeeping and Honey Production on
Sunday, April 19 from 9:00 am to Noon, at B.B.Brown's Gardens in
Clermont.
The honeybee is one of the most important pollinators
known to mankind, and we are losing them at an alarming rate. Now
you have the opportunity to hear and see what it is that makes this
bee so important to our food chain and economic well being.
Join Jean Vasicek , founder of Winter Park Honey
on a journey into her life with bees in Central
Florida. Watch the bees as they make their honeycomb, and taste the
difference between organically produced raw unfiltered honey and
off-the-shelf processed honey. Taste the full range of flavors available
and learn how boosting your immune system with honey can reduce the
effects of airborne allergens.
