Daisy or sunflower family.

Flowers from January to November.

A perennial shrub with hairy stems and large roots. Usually less than 20 inches tall.
Has mostly basal, lobed leaves with flowers comprised of yellow petals with greenish and yellowish disk florets.

Greeneyes is endemic to Florida.
