Daisy or sunflower family.

Flowers from March to November.

A perennial herb or shrub up to 9 feet tall with
a woody base. Has evergreen leaves that are rough to the touch and long-stalked heads with tubular flowers that are white or pinkish.
Bears one-seeded, hard fruit. Native to
Central Florida.

Feay's Palafox is federally endangered and

s endemic to Florida.
