Daisy or sunflower family.

Flowers in late summer and fall.

A perennial plant that grows to 3 feet tall or more with hairy, leafy stems. Flowering consists of a terminal cluster of tubular flowers that are light pink to purple in color.

Found throughout North and Central Florida and some parts of the Panhandle and
the Keys.
