Trail work gets underway on Saturday, November 22,

at 8:30 a.m. and goes until 11:00 a.m.

We are always grateful for any help you can provide. Bring your water bottle – we will supply plenty of cold water to refill your bottle. Other things to bring to Saturday’s Trailday are gloves, hats, pruning shears, and loppers. We have a limited supply of tools to share, so don’t worry if you don’t have your own.

The Clermont Christmas Bird Count will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026. I would love to have all of your help again! Please let me know if you would like to help out again whenever you're able.

This year will be a special Count, as it will be dedicated to the memory of Bruce Brown of The Scrub-Jay Trail, who passed away in June. Bruce loved this event and cheerfully hosted it for many years at the Trail along with his wife, Cathy. Cathy will continue the tradition, and the Scrub-Jay Trail will be home base for the Clermont CBC once again in January.

Thanks, all! I hope you're having a wonderful fall migration - I sure am! I'm already looking forward to an exciting Christmas Bird Count season. Hopefully I'll be seeing you soon!
