Trailday January 26, 2019

Our blissful sunrise yoga starts at 7:00 a.m. and lets us enjoy the beauty of sunrise over the lake as our guest instructor George Rossell leads us through calming, reflective poses that are suitable for any experience level. All you need to bring is your mat and your enthusiasm. (No charge)

Trailday - lend a hand at our ongoing trail maintenance from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. after enjoying continental breakfast on the trailhouse porch. This Saturday we will be pruning the scrub oaks, getting ready for nesting season for the Florida Scrub-Jays.

Please bring loppers, hand pruners, and gloves if you have them. If not, we have limited availability of equipment to loan for the event. Everyone should wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring your water bottle - we will supply plenty of cold water to refill your bottle.

John Thomton, our bird checklist professional, will be birding from 8:30-10:30 a.m. John has created our Birding Checklist over the years and keeps the updated list of “Birds Seen on The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail.” Join John and his family on Saturday for a great birding adventure.

Please note there will be no Trailday in February - join us at the Florida Scrub-Jay Festival in Merritt Island.
