Dr. Minno’s to lead Fall Butterfly Expedition
Fall is the perfect time of year to explore the amazing world of butterflies at the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail. On Saturday, September 16, Dr. Marc Minno will lead you through the habitat of 70 species that exist on the Trail. Many of these beautiful butterflies are currently in full color, including the fascinating Monarch.
Dr. Marc Minno has a Ph. D. in zoology and over 23 years of professional experience as an interdisciplinary scientist. He is the author of many books on butterflies and their host plants and has studied butterflies around the world including Central America, South America, Caribbean, Europe, Cuba and India.
