JOIN JANA HARRIS ON SATURDAY
OCTOBER 21, 2017 9:00AM - 11:00AM
This is the peak of migration season for the Monarch Butterfly in our area. Did you know Monarch butterflies will travel as far as 3,000 miles to get to their winter home?
The seasonal migration of the Monarch Butterfly takes them through Florida to the mountains of Mexico in the fall, returning to the U.S. in spring. How they accomplish this is a scientific mystery, but you can help solve it by tagging the wings of these migrating Monarchs and monitoring them.
Join butterfly enthusiast Jana Harris on Saturday, October 21, between 9am and 11am. She will provide the supplies and teach you how to apply the tags and send them on their journey.
When making reservations, please tell us how many people are in your group.
