Highlights of the Trail

Jana Harris and Janet Carter, along with several volunteers continue to monitor the bluebird houses.
One family of 4 young fledged recently and the adults have already built a new nest in another house which now has
3 young and 1egg.
Build it and they will come...as in the scrub-jay trail restoration, we also have several families of red headed woodpeckers working diligently to make their home inside these bluebird boxes.

The Florida Chapter of the Bluebird Society is just over a year old. With the recent activity of the bluebird trail at The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail several of you have asked how you can get involved.
