Allan Jahner,
Owner of  Wild Birds Unlimted in Winter Springs, Florida will be offering a guided tour for The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail on Saturday, April 21st.

If you have not had the opportunity to spend time in the field with Allan, this is wonderful time to do so.  Allan, a master in his field, is a wealth of knowledge for those just beginning birding as well as for the professional birder. With his hands-on field experience and knowledge of feeders, seed,  nest boxes and what is needed to create the proper habitat for attracting specific birds to your back yard, you will be amazed at what new information you walk away with each time.

The trail has been very active lately. Currently, there is a nesting pair of scrub-jays with 5 young on the trail. Also the bluebirds and titmice have been actively feeding their young. The wood storks and sandhill cranes  along with several species of ducks have been enjoying the lake and marsh. The bald eagles and osprey are continuously bragging about what one caught that the other did not.

The Florida Scrub-Jay Trail  staff  is always excited and honored when Allan and Wild Birds Unlimited make a visit. For more information on this field trip, stop in
